Note: The PayMaya Checkout Magento Plugin works on Magento 2.x. It doesn't support Magento 1.x.
The PayMaya Payment Gateway team is proud to announce the availability of the Paymaya Checkout Magento Plugin. The plugin allows you to quickly integrate the PayMaya Checkout plugin into your Magento website with minimal effort. Once installed, your Magento store can accept VISA, MasterCard, and JCB card payments with PayMaya Checkout.
To install, download the zip package below:
Extract the archive and copy the contents into a folder of your Magento store under magento-root-folder/app/code.
Once installed, you should see the PayMaya Checkout Magento plugin in the Module Manager (System => Web Setup Wizard => Module Manager) list.
The Module Manager contains a lot of modules, scroll to the bottom of the last page to see the Paymaya Checkout module.
Enable the PayMaya Checkout module by clicking the Select box and selecting Enable. The Enable Module wizard will appear and perform checks to verify that the module is ready for installation.
Click Next until you reach the last step of the wizard. Click Enable to let Magento install and configure the module. Note that the processing time depends on your server's capability.
Once enabled, you will see the PayMaya Checkout button in the navigation menu. Click the button to configure the module. Input your public-facing and secret API keys and select Yes for Sandbox Mode. You can find sandbox API keys here. Click Save.
If appropriately configured, you should see the PayMaya Checkout option as part of the available payment methods during checkout.
That's it! Once you've tested your Magento website in the sandbox environment, set the production API keys and disable Sandbox Mode to start accepting live payments.
